Vu Thu Power Company is managing and operating 304km of medium voltage lines and 1,113km of low voltage lines, with 484 transformer stations with a total capacity of 174,620kV. In recent days, Vu Thu Power Company has increased its workforce to review the entire power grid system, promptly fixing points at risk of causing incidents to ensure safe and stable power supply. Mr. Truong Duc Chung, Deputy Head of the Operation Management Team, Vu Thu Power Company said: Our electricity workers have carried out assigned tasks, increased inspection and review of all medium and low voltage lines and distribution transformer stations, defects that pose a risk of causing equipment incidents, power grid incidents, violations of the power grid safety corridor, especially lines and transformer stations serving the power supply in residential areas and industrial parks, thereby contributing to stable power supply for the people. In recent times, the electricity industry has had many practical activities towards customers such as free labor for pulling wires behind the meter; supporting experiments, industrial cleaning of transformer stations. My family has been supported with free installation of wires behind the meter. Vu Thu Power Company workers also guided the family to use electricity safely, economically and effectively, minimizing incidents that may occur during the use of electricity.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Director of Vu Thu Power Company, said: To ensure stable and safe power supply, promptly meeting the needs of socio-economic development and people's daily life, Vu Thu Power Company has developed a plan to invest in renovating and upgrading the power grid such as: Project to prevent overloading of low-voltage power grid; focusing on replacing and increasing the capacity of transformers at risk of overloading in the hot season; focusing on repairing and replacing power lines in some localities. Strengthening inspection and cleaning of power line corridors, cleaning insulation with high pressure water, using thermal cameras to check and measure contact temperatures at joints, speeding up the construction progress of overload prevention investment projects. In addition, Vu Thu Power Company also coordinates with local authorities to strengthen security measures for power projects, propagate prevention and strictly handle violations of power line corridors. Recommend agencies, offices, businesses and people in the area to use electricity safely, economically and effectively, limit the simultaneous use of high-capacity electrical equipment during peak hours. Periodic maintenance, regular load measurement, load monitoring to promptly detect areas with growing loads, ensure appropriate capacity to avoid overloading, interrupting power supply. Regularly monitor the load situation of transformer stations through the remote measurement system, promptly increase capacity, internal rotation and phase balancing, load sharing when necessary. Since the beginning of the year, Vu Thu Power Company has invested in building 7.9km of medium-voltage lines and installing 19 overload-proof transformer stations with a total capacity of 5,590kVA; newly building 28.7km of low-voltage lines to connect to the grid and share load for 27 transformer stations operating at full load during peak hours. Renovating and upgrading 13.4km of medium voltage lines, building 2 loop lines, 2 internal loop lines, installing 8 new sets of LBS load isolation switches with remote control. Increasing capacity, internally rotating 55 transformers. Developing a plan to repair 400V lines of overloaded transformer stations, poor quality lines. Deploying 54 phases of balancing, handling line contact, load sharing 27 transformer stations...
