Donating "Shelter of Love" to poor women in Hong Minh commune

Leaders of the Women's Union of Hung Ha district presented funding to support house construction for Ms. Pham Thi Nga, Hong Minh commune.

Ms. Pham Thi Nga is a social protection beneficiary, no longer able to work, and has had to live in a dilapidated house for many years, which is unsafe, especially during the rainy and stormy season. To promptly encourage and share the difficulties with Ms. Nga, the District Women's Union called for help from benefactors, local authorities, and relatives to build a new house for Ms. Nga. After the construction period, the house was completed and put into use, with a total cost of more than 42 million VND, of which the District Women's Union supported 30 million VND; the remaining amount was donated by benefactors and officials and people of Hong Minh commune.

Hong Minh commune leaders presented gifts to Ms. Pham Thi Nga's family.

This is the 12th house in the past 5 years that the Women's Union of Hung Ha district has given to members in difficult circumstances in the district to motivate them to continue working hard to develop their family economy and stabilize their lives.
