Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong and his delegation visited and presented gifts to officials and employees of the Provincial Nursing Center for Meritorious People and 12 meritorious people being cared for at the center. They also visited and presented gifts to war invalid Vo Toan (88 years old), in Tu Cung village, Tinh Khe commune, and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thu (99 years old), in residential group 2, Tran Phu ward, Quang Ngai city.
At the places he visited, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong expressed his deep gratitude to the Heroic Mothers of Vietnam, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution for their great contributions to the cause of national liberation and national construction. At the same time, he highly appreciated the efforts of the staff and civil servants at the Provincial Nursing Center for Meritorious People in taking care of the health of people with meritorious services over the past time.
Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong affirmed that the Party, State and authorities at all levels always pay attention to and fully implement preferential policies for people with meritorious services; at the same time, he requested all levels and sectors to continue to pay attention to and well implement preferential policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van respectfully thanked the affection and attention of the National Assembly and the National Assembly's Council of Ethnic Minorities for Quang Ngai province. Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van said that, along with socio-economic development, "remembering the source of water when drinking" and repaying gratitude are very important political tasks that the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ngai always pay attention to. On the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee organized delegations to visit and present gifts to people with meritorious services. Along with the central government's policies, in recent years, Quang Ngai has issued many specific policies of the province to pay special attention, showing affection and gratitude to people with meritorious services to the revolution.
On the same day, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong and leaders of Quang Ngai province and the mountainous district of Tra Bong came to offer flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Martyrs Cemetery of Tra Bong district, Quang Ngai province.
