On January 17, the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in Thuan Nam district held a conference to evaluate the results of implementation in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024.

In 2023, the Steering Committees of the Campaign at all levels advised Party committees and authorities to focus on implementing the Campaign, achieving many positive results; contributing to changing the awareness and behavior of producers and traders, creating a spread to the people in consuming products and goods made in Vietnam. During the year, the District Steering Committee coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade and enterprises to organize 10 mobile sales trips to stabilize prices; supported businesses to connect between the Ninh Thuan - Ho Chi Minh City system; coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to support 1 point to introduce and sell OCOP products and specific products; supported entities to maintain and develop OCOPs and specific products associated with supporting product consumption...

In 2024, the District Steering Committee will continue to implement Directive No. 11-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in the movement "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation; support information about trade fairs inside and outside the province to enterprises, production and business establishments in the area; strengthen coordination and encourage enterprises inside and outside the province to organize mobile sales in communes; promote propaganda and mobilize consumers to shop and use Vietnamese goods; strengthen market management, strictly handle acts of trade fraud, trading in counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, etc.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee of the Thuan Nam District Movement awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
