More Japanese investors pour capital into Song Khoai Industrial Park

The signing ceremony of the land use rights sublease contract at Song Khoai Industrial Park between Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company and IKO Thompson Vietnam Co., Ltd. was recently held in Quang Yen Town.

According to the signed contract, Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company will lease the land use rights of 3 hectares in Song Khoai Industrial Park to IKO Thompson Vietnam Co., Ltd. to implement the project of building a factory to produce bearings and linear motion equipment.

IKO Thompson Vietnam Co., Ltd. is expected to start construction of the factory in mid-2025 and start production in early January 2026 with a designed capacity of 930 tons of products/year. The total investment is 57 million USD.

This is an investment project in the field of processing, manufacturing and high-tech industry, thereby contributing to further development of this field in Quang Ninh province.

As a company with many years of experience in industrial production in Japan, the presence of IKO Thompson Vietnam in Song Khoai Industrial Park is a positive signal for this place to continue to attract more investors from Japan in the coming time.

Song Khoai Industrial Park, invested by Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company (under Amata Group), is divided into 5 phases with a total area of ​​714 hectares and a total investment of over 3,500 billion VND.

Currently, the investor has also completed and energized the 110 KV transformer station, put into use the water supply station and wastewater treatment plant... ensuring the supply of electricity, water and wastewater treatment for secondary investors.

Song Khoai Industrial Park has 15 secondary investment projects, with a total investment capital of more than 2.4 billion USD. Up to now, 2 projects have been put into production and business operation, namely: Jinko Solar Vietnam Photovoltaic Cell Technology Project (Jinko 1) and Jinko Solar Vietnam Silicon Panel Technology Project (Jinko 2) of Jinko Solar Industrial Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), creating jobs for about 4,000 workers, with an average income of 13 million VND/person/month. The remaining 13 projects are currently under construction.

The goal of Amata Group as well as Quang Ninh province is to promote, promote and attract investment in manufacturing and processing industries, high-tech industries in Song Khoai Industrial Park, participate and contribute to the production value chain of Quang Yen coastal economic zone and Quang Ninh province.
