At the meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan highly appreciated and was pleased with the strong development of Thanh Hoa province in recent years, making Thanh Hoa one of the major economic centers of Vietnam.
The Ambassador affirmed: Vietnam and Japan have a deep relationship and have raised it to a strategic level, in which local-local relations are identified as the pillar. Thanh Hoa province's establishment of a cooperative relationship with Niigata province ensures the right direction in Vietnam's diplomatic relations, thereby deepening the relationship and creating a foundation for comprehensive cooperation in all fields. The viewpoints and orientations in the diplomatic relations between Thanh Hoa province and Niigata province, as well as the proposals of Thanh Hoa province, will be the goals pursued by the Embassy in developing relations between the two countries and localities of the two countries in the coming time.
