Traders reveal the truth about the type of ruby that is 'dying red' Vietnamese markets

Japanese chocolate rose costs more than 1 million VND/kg
Around October to December, according to Tri Thuc Magazine, imported fruit stores sell a type of persimmon with chocolate-like flesh for up to over 1 million VND/kg.
The seller said that customers who have enjoyed this expensive persimmon are willing to spend millions to buy it many times. Buyers mainly choose to eat this type of persimmon because they love its special sweetness and unique color. When it reaches the ideal ripeness, the persimmon becomes sweeter and softer.
Cheap Chinese milk grapes, sold everywhere in Vietnamese markets
Recently, “noble” grapes from China have become a favorite fruit of many Vietnamese families. More 'heart of autumn' grapes from China flood Vietnamese markets for sale at cheap prices
After milk grapes, another “noble” grape variety is being expanded in China. This grape variety is flooding the Vietnamese market at a super cheap price compared to Japanese products.
Like milk grapes, “autumn heart” grapes are a famous grape variety of Japan. When they first appeared in the Vietnamese market, Japanese “autumn heart” grapes cost from 2-2.3 million VND/kg, ranking among the most expensive grapes in the world.
But after China expanded its growing area and brought it to the Vietnamese market for sale, this "noble" grape variety went from being expensive to becoming popular.
In stores as well as online markets, Chinese “autumn heart” grapes (also known as red milk grapes) are sold everywhere, commonly at around 150,000 VND/kg. In online fruit wholesale markets, Chinese red milk grapes are offered for only 550,000 VND/9kg box. In total, 1kg of these grapes costs only 61,000 VND. (See details)
Durian price doubled
The main durian season has ended, leading to high prices. Tri Thuc Magazine reported that many places have temporarily stopped selling Ri6 durian and Thai durian due to insufficient supply.
At a durian store on Lac Long Quan Street (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City), the price of Ri6 durian type A (2-4 kg) is 249,000 VND/kg, while previously this item was sold for 189,000 VND/kg.
As for Thai Monthong durian (2-5 kg), the price in July fluctuated from 70,000-100,000 VND/kg with shell, but now the price has increased 2.5 times.
Domestic retail gas prices continue to increase for the fourth consecutive month.
