However, in Hue City, no dangerous epidemics have occurred.
It is estimated that by March 2025, the city will have a total herd of more than 15,110 buffaloes, 28,113 cows, an increase of 0.5% over the same period in 2024; an estimated herd of 155,187 pigs, a decrease of 2%, and 5,219 poultry, a decrease of 1.9%...
Accordingly, the whole city has vaccinated 20,010 doses of fowl cholera (reaching 64%, up 5% over the same period), 24,310 doses of triple vaccine (reaching 70%, up 6%), 4,570 doses of E. coli (reaching 60%, up 9%), 332,210 doses of avian influenza (reaching 74%, up 5%), 207,100 doses of duck cholera (reaching 53%, up 2%), 183,910 doses of Newcastle (reaching 70%, up 8%), 7,230 doses of avian cholera (reaching 52%, up 5%), 41,900 doses of chickenpox (reaching 76%, up 10%) and 75,350 doses of Gumboro (reaching 56%, up 7%).
Livestock vaccination reached over 65% in the first 3 months of the year |
Compared to the same period in 2024, the vaccination rate for livestock and poultry reached over 65% and increased compared to the same period, except for livestock vaccines in Huong Tra town, which decreased by 8% and A Luoi district, which decreased by 14%.
The conference determined the task of coordinating well with localities to monitor epidemics, fully vaccinate animals under the programs; deploy rabies vaccination for dogs and cats according to plan No. 120 dated March 19, 2025 of the Department. Continue to vaccinate all types of vaccines for the spring crop, striving to reach over 80% of the plan by April 30.
