2024 is the year that Gia Lai Department of Industry and Trade has made a breakthrough, successfully implementing the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan (2021 - 2025) according to the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress.
Although there are still many difficulties, with the management efforts of the board of directors and the spirit of efforts to overcome difficulties of the staff, civil servants and public employees, the important targets and tasks of the industry have been completed compared to the Resolution 2024 set out.
Thereby, encouraging achievements have been achieved such as: industrial production index is estimated to increase by 2.9% over the same period; total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at 60,771 billion VND, up 10.14% over the same period; export turnover is estimated at 800 million USD, reaching 106.67% of the plan, up 17.65% over the same period; effectively implementing industrial promotion and trade promotion work...

In 2025, civil servants, public employees, and employees of the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to compete and complete the political tasks of the industry. In particular, strive for an industrial production index increase of 4.8%; total retail sales of goods and service revenue of 66,500 billion VND; export target plan for 2025 is 850 million USD, an increase of 6.25% compared to 2024; import target plan for 2025 is 120 million USD, an increase of 4.35% compared to 2024. In particular, by 2025, Gia Lai Department of Industry and Trade will strive for 100% of civil servants, public employees, and employees of the Department of Industry and Trade to seriously participate in disseminating and studying the Party's Resolutions; strengthen solidarity and unity within agencies and units, and strive for 100% of civil servants and public employees to seriously implement the agency's internal regulations and rules, the Law on Civil Servants, and the Law on Public Employees.
