"Drunk" on coffee, remember the festival

In just 2 weekends, at the event hall on the 1st floor of Gigamall, the festival "Honoring Vietnamese Coffee 2023" was co-organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper with many meaningful activities.

For a coffee lover like me, trying many different flavors is truly a valuable experience. Many famous brands such as Trung Nguyen, Mr.Nam, King Coffee, Phuc Sinh, Ong Bau, Rita Vo, ... have created a truly explosive party for the senses.

From the sense of sight when witnessing the process of grinding and brewing beans to the sense of hearing when hearing the rustling sound of coffee and ice cubes stirring or the sense of smell when smelling the characteristic aroma mixed with a little bit of fatty milk. Finally, the sense of taste when the intoxicating bitterness permeates the tip of the tongue, melting in the throat. Each brand brings a unique, unmixed feeling. But for someone who likes the strong bitterness like me, Trung Nguyen is still an option for leisurely days watching the crowded streets. I tried two cups of Trung Nguyen coffee, one hot, one cold. If hot coffee makes people live slowly with each taste, a little bit of ice will chill the mouth, making the coffee taste a bit neutral.

At the festival, activities such as "Guess the scent" or writing about coffee in the souvenir book act as a bridge connecting like-minded souls. With my feelings about coffee as a dash between joy and sadness shared in that book, I was fortunate to receive a gift from the Organizing Committee. Surely, what comes from the heart will reach the heart.

To me, coffee is more than just a drink. It's a life experience.
