Samsung officially deploys One UI 7 on April 7

Not long after announcing that One UI 7 would be released to flagship Galaxy devices in April, Samsung has officially confirmed the specific rollout time.

According to Samsung's announcement, the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Flip 6 models will receive the stable One UI 7 update on April 7. The company will then expand the rollout to more devices in the following weeks, including the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 series.

One UI 7 will be available on some older Galaxy phones on April 7

While many other Galaxy phones will also receive the Android 15 update, the initial rollout will focus on the aforementioned devices. Some leaks suggest that the Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, and other mid-range devices will receive the stable One UI 7 update in May.

The announcement comes shortly after Samsung released One UI 7 beta 5 for the Galaxy S24 series. The beta not only fixes bugs but also adds LOG video recording support for non-S24 Ultra models. This will be the last One UI 7 beta firmware before Samsung releases the stable Android 15 build next month.

Additionally, Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy S25's Audio Eraser feature will be available on the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Tab S10, but will not be available on any devices launched before 2023.

One UI 7 is one of Samsung's biggest updates to its Android-based interface. It brings a number of significant UI improvements, including polished system animations and new icons. It also introduces the Now Bar, which displays contextual and real-time information right on the lock screen, along with deeper integration of Galaxy AI with features like AI Select, Writing Assist, and Drawing Assist.

Notably, One UI 7 will bring a natural language search feature to the Settings menu, making it easy for users to find the right option just by typing a query in everyday language.
