Sacombank and UNIT deploy digital business process platform

All transaction points of Sacombank have applied UNIT's digital transaction platform and process at the counter, helping customers reduce 60% of their time compared to before. After more than a year of researching and implementing digital transformation solutions, the bank has minimized most manual operations and reduced data errors. After piloting operations at 15 branches, Sacombank has officially applied the digital business process platform to all more than 550 transaction points nationwide. This platform is a product that Sacombank cooperated with UNIT Technology Joint Stock Company to deploy at transaction counters from April 2023 to convert most manual operations to automatic; reduce data errors, shorten transaction time, and bring many new service experiences to users. Previously, when the digital platform was not applied, interactions between bank employees and customers were mainly performed and stored manually. Now, when customers come to the counter to make a transaction, the information entry steps will be filled out according to the available form on the system. Customers only need to check and sign for approval once, instead of having to go through many cumbersome procedures as before. The information will then be sent to the relevant department, the automatic operation process handles customer needs quickly and accurately. Just a few seconds later, the transaction officer can check the results, approve and sign. Sacombank representative Mr. Tran Thai Binh - Director of Digital Banking Division shared: "Through this platform, Sacombank has shortened the transaction completion time by more than 60% compared to before, reducing operating costs on each transaction, creating conditions for the bank to serve customers more attentively. In particular, the new technology helps Sacombank reduce a large amount of printed and stored documents, contributing to the construction of a green environment for society - one of the important criteria in our commitment to sustainable development".

As of June 2024, Sacombank and UNIT have coordinated to complete the phase of building a technology platform that adapts to the existing architecture, continuously developing, integrating, operating and expanding the system. In the coming time, the two sides will continue to cooperate to develop the next phases of the project to enhance competitiveness, upgrade services, and bring the best digital experience to customers.
