Sabeco acquires non-alcoholic beer company

(NLDO)-Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group is a unit with 6 breweries and the non-alcoholic beer brand Sagota.

*SBB: Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) has officially announced its intention to buy more than 37.8 million SBB shares from Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group Corporation (Sabibeco) at VND22,000/share, aiming to become the parent company of this beer company. The transaction will take place from October 31 to December 25.

After the transaction, Sabeco will own more than 52 million SBB shares, equivalent to 59.6% of capital, thereby becoming the parent company of Sabibeco.

Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group is a unit with 6 breweries and the non-alcoholic beer brand Sagota.

*HVA: Major shareholder LIVETRADE JSC bought 463,000 HVA shares from HVA Investment JSC on October 21, increasing ownership ratio to 8.8% (equivalent to 1.2 million shares).

*VNS: Tael Two Partners Ltd, an organization related to Ms. Huynh Thanh Binh Minh, a member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Sun Joint Stock Company (stock code: VNS) sold 441,500 VNS shares from September 25 to October 24.

Next, this organization registered to sell 1 million more VNS shares to restructure its investment portfolio. The transaction is expected to take place from October 30 to November 28. If the sale is successful, the ownership ratio at Anh Duong Vietnam Company will decrease to 6.4%.
