Specifically, Asia Materials Joint Stock Company AIG has just announced a change in senior personnel.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Thien Truc will resign from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) and move to the position of Chairman of the company's strategy council and member of the BOD.
The successor to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mr. Truc is Mr. Bernhard Hackl. Bernhard Hackl had not held any position at AIG before sitting in the "hottest seat" of the AIG Board of Directors.
The transfer of the chairmanship at AIG will take effect from March 1.
According to the resolution of AIG's Board of Directors, the new chairman will be responsible for directing market development strategies, internationalizing new business areas, and building a streamlined, optimized operating system.
Meanwhile, the strategy council headed by Mr. Truc is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for the Board of Directors, the Board of Management and important decisions for AIG.
It is known that the new chairman of AIG is a foreigner and has held senior management positions at large corporations such as Azelis, Brenntag Asia Pacific Pte, Wacker Chemie AG and Wacker Chemical Corporation.
As for AIG, the company's main field of activity is the production and trading of raw materials and spices for the food processing, dairy and food products industries.

AIG currently has 7 factories including Asia Saigon Food Ingredients JSC Factory, Asia Coconut Processing, APIS, Asia Hoa Son, Asia Specialty Ingredients, Mekong Delta Gourmet and Vinh Hao Algae.
This company has also been traded on the UpCOM floor under the code AIG since November last year. With a paid-in capital of VND1,706 billion, more than 170.6 million AIG shares were quoted on the first trading day at VND63,000/share.
However, being listed on UpCOM at a time when the stock market was not performing well, AIG shares "evaporated" sharply, currently only 48,200 VND/share.
According to the 2024 management report, former chairman Nguyen Thien Truc still holds nearly 52 million AIG shares, equivalent to 30.32% of AIG's capital at the end of 2024.
Estimated current market price of AIG shares, Mr. Truc is holding assets worth more than 2,500 billion VND on the stock market.
