The ceremony was also attended by many senior leaders, including National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai and representatives of central ministries, departments and branches.
At the inauguration ceremony, the director of Hospital 108, Major General, Professor, Dr. Le Huu Song, affirmed that the team of doctors and nurses will continuously learn and improve their professional qualifications, striving to make the hospital a leading center for international research and cooperation.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam praised the achievements of Hospital 108, affirming the important role of the hospital in protecting and caring for people's health.
The General Secretary also sent congratulations on the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, expressing gratitude to the medical staff for their great contributions to the cause of taking care of people's health.
He emphasized that the hospital needs to continue to innovate, improve professional quality, promote the application of technology, artificial intelligence and digital transformation in medical examination and treatment.
The General Secretary suggested that in the role of a strategic hospital, the last line of the army and the whole country, in the coming years, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the 108 Central Military Hospital need to continue to promote the role of leadership, centralized direction, unity, and innovative management.
In particular, focusing on leadership, direction and implementation organization to create important breakthroughs in: professional quality, service quality. Promoting administrative reform, simplifying administrative procedures, strongly applying digital transformation in medical examination and treatment.

Regarding the Central Institute for Health Protection and Care of Cadres and the Clinical Institute of Infectious Diseases, the General Secretary requested that hospital leaders and commanders pay attention to doing a good job of technical work to operate the project safely, in accordance with regulations, effectively exploit modern equipment, and avoid waste and loss.
At the same time, educate all staff to have good awareness in preserving, operating, using effectively, efficiently, safely and with quality of works to serve well the needs of high-quality medical examination and treatment for soldiers and people.
Government agencies and the Ministry of National Defense direct and create all favorable conditions to help the hospital continue to be fully invested in modern and synchronous equipment to further develop and soon reach international standards.
