The overwhelming dominance of Possessed also made the extremely funny Assassin , a comedy film of Korean cinema, unable to rise to the top of the box office rankings in its first week of release.

However, the film, which has a dubbed version with the participation of two famous names Le Khanh and Le Duong Bao Lam, still achieved impressive revenue of over 11.6 billion VND with 128,092 tickets sold and 4,548 screenings. The film currently has a total revenue of over 21 billion VND.

The third place in the weekly revenue chart belongs to Nha Gia Tien , which is still holding its ground with over 5.5 billion VND in revenue and over 58,000 tickets sold. The film currently has a revenue of over 235 billion VND.

In the top 5 Vietnamese box office last week, the film that continued to make the most impression was The Pit of Death . Although it was re-released and released in IMAX format with a very low number of screenings - 83, the film still earned more than 4 billion VND with 24,398 tickets sold. After 10 years since its first release, the film still proves its strong appeal to fans.

Previously, Box Office Vietnam reported that due to the limited number of theaters and screenings, the film received a lot of attention, and there was speculation - ticket scalpers, buying tickets in advance and then reselling them to the audience. This is considered a very rare situation at the box office.

Some new films released last weekend such as Anh Khong Dau or the music documentary Vietnamese Concert Film: We Are Vietnamese also did not have impressive revenue, only stopping at a few hundred million VND.
