Regarding the implementation of the measles vaccination campaign, the Ministry of Health recommends that localities proactively prioritize timely arrangements and fully allocate funds from local budgets to organize the implementation of the measles vaccination campaign (including funds for screening vaccination subjects, organizing vaccination...) according to regulations.
For the activities of the Expanded Immunization Program, continue to allocate funds to implement the activities of the Expanded Immunization Program, including measles vaccination.
On the same day, the Ministry of Health also issued a decision to establish 6 inspection, supervision, guidance and direction teams for epidemic prevention and control and implementation of measles vaccination campaigns in provinces and cities.
The inspection teams are responsible for inspecting, supervising, guiding and directing measles prevention work in localities with high cases of suspected measles or slow implementation of the 2025 measles vaccination campaign; at the same time, synthesizing, compiling statistics and reporting the implementation results of the localities according to regulations; proposing recommendations to the Ministry of Health and competent local authorities to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of measles prevention work...
