The National Assembly thoroughly grasps the new points of 19 laws and resolutions.

The conference took place in person at the National Assembly House, connecting online with 63 local points under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The conference aims to thoroughly grasp new points, important contents, tasks assigned by the National Assembly, clarify the responsibilities of agencies, clearly identify progress and requirements in organizing the implementation of laws and resolutions so that the Government, ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies and organizations can implement them, and agencies of the National Assembly, National Assembly delegations, National Assembly deputies, voters and people can monitor, supervise and evaluate.

Thereby strengthening coordination, creating synchronization and unity among agencies in organizing the implementation of laws and resolutions of the National Assembly; ensuring the implementation of laws and resolutions into life, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, and completing the set goals and tasks.

The first conference to implement laws and resolutions of the 15th National Assembly (September 6, 2023)

At the 6th session and the 5th extraordinary session, the 15th National Assembly passed 9 laws and 11 resolutions, which stipulated very important contents on identification; forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; management and protection of national defense works and military zones; land; housing; real estate business; water resources; telecommunications; credit institutions; piloting a number of specific policies on investment in road construction; applying additional corporate income tax according to regulations on preventing erosion of the global tax base; a number of specific mechanisms and policies to implement national target programs; socio-economic development plans; state budget estimates; medium-term public investment plans, etc.

There is 1 resolution taking effect from November 28, 2023; 1 resolution taking effect from January 1, 2024; 5 laws taking effect from July 1, 2024; 4 laws taking effect from January 1, 2025.

Within the framework of this conference, the National Assembly Standing Committee focused on disseminating new points, key contents, requirements and main tasks to implement 19 laws and resolutions.

Implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, Conclusion No. 19-KL/TW of the Politburo on the orientation of the Law-making Program for the 15th National Assembly, Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee on continuing to build and perfect the socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam in the new period, the 15th National Assembly, together with the Government, relevant agencies and organizations, actively implemented and completed a large volume of legislative work.

Up to now, in the first half of the 15th tenure, the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee have issued 1,190 documents, including 32 laws and 112 resolutions of the National Assembly, 4 ordinances and 1,042 resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee, promptly institutionalizing the Party's policies and guidelines, continuing to concretize the Constitution, comprehensively adjusting all aspects of socio-economic life, and at the same time, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles in practice, contributing to socio-economic recovery and development, ensuring social security, national defense and security.
