The opening time of the 2023 Ha Tinh province defense area exercise is approaching, all officers, soldiers and people mobilized to participate in the exercise have prepared carefully, ready to wait for orders.

The agencies of the Provincial Military Command are currently “racing” against time to complete the final tasks for the defense zone exercise day (DTKVPT). From the system of documents, combat plans to the plan to ensure logistics, technical facilities, weapons, equipment, trenches and fortifications in the combat base area, the system of celebration decorations... all have been 100% completed and started to be put into operation according to the mechanism.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Thinh - Deputy Head of the Training Department (Provincial Military Command) said: “We have coordinated to advise, develop, issue and appraise hundreds of documents and plans of agencies, units, departments, branches and localities. The workload is so large that in the past few months, officers and employees have been working many times more than usual. When the rehearsal date is near, we have almost no time to rest. Thanks to that, up to now, we have completed everything well, ready to enter with the highest spirit in the upcoming rehearsal days”.
In the agencies of the Political Department (Provincial Military Command), in addition to advising and coordinating the development of a system of documents and combat plans in their fields, the departments (Propaganda, Organization, Personnel, Policy...) have also tried their best to take advantage of all times and places to thoroughly complete all assigned tasks.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phi Bien - staff of the Propaganda Department shared: "Currently, more than 1,000 signs, billboards, posters, banners, slogans, flags and the system of celebrations serving the exercise have been put into place. All are made to ensure accuracy, principles, content, format, size and aesthetics. Thereby, contributing to propaganda, encouragement, motivation, bringing a unique atmosphere of the "big battle" as well as bringing the overall success of the DTKVPT".
The forces participating in the exercise are in position ready for the exercise situations.
After days of “braving the sun, overcoming the rain, and practicing enthusiastically”, the units participating in the exercise of Military Region 4 were ready to enter the battle with the role and position of the core force in the actual combat against the enemy. Each officer and soldier in each combat formation had a firm grasp of their tasks based on a firm grasp of all principles, directions of mobility, combat coordination, firepower, etc.
Sergeant Le Minh Hai said: “After 2 years of military service, I have participated in a major event with important soldiers. This is an opportunity for us to improve our qualifications, combat skills, and ability to receive and complete tasks. Therefore, despite the hardship, my teammates and I have always been diligently sticking to the training ground, practicing day and night, and are currently very determined before the exercise, striving to complete the task in the best way possible.”
Also in a state of readiness awaiting orders, the army's firepower units, local militia... are all standing firm on the battlefields. All are determined to demonstrate their strength and combat readiness in live combat to prevent the enemy from attacking by sea and protect the village.
Corporal Nguyen Van Anh (from Ky Thuong commune, Ky Anh district) shared: “With what we have been trained and practiced on the training ground, everyone is confident and determined to take down the target. In particular, we will coordinate closely, operate synchronously, calibrate weapons accurately, master the key movements and maximize the features, techniques and tactics of the weapons to make achievements.”
Mr. Nguyen Viet Linh in Phu Mau Hamlet, Loc Ha Town, Loc Ha District (owner of HT-90313 TS boat) said: “Two days ago, I temporarily stopped going to sea to participate in the drill on mobilizing civilian boats to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands with the fishing fleet in the area. With the responsibility and duty to protect the Fatherland, we are ready to wait for orders with the determination to participate in the drill to ensure safety, follow the script, promote the purpose and meaning of the drill”.
Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thang - Commander of the Provincial Military Command said: "Up to now, the agencies and units of the provincial military have completed the final work contents for the 2023 Provincial Military Exercise. With the highest political determination and elaborate, complete and thoughtful preparation in terms of forces, material means, equipment, weapons..., the forces participating in the exercise and the mobilized people have prepared well in terms of mentality, sense of responsibility and high determination, ensuring the success of the exercise".
