This afternoon, January 6, the Steering Committee of Project 2036, the Military Command of Quang Tri province held a conference to review 1 year of implementing the Project "Improving the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work of the armed forces of Military Region 4 in the period 2023 - 2030 and the following years" (Project 2036).

The report at the conference stated that in 2024, the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command and the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 4 and the province on mass mobilization work; especially effectively implementing Project 2036. Through the work of grasping, studying and educating, the awareness and responsibility of Party committees, commanders, cadres and Party members on mass mobilization work in special areas have been raised, especially the cadres directly doing mass mobilization work.
The work of propagating and mobilizing the people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws has always been coordinated by units with many rich, diverse, appropriate and effective contents and forms. The Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command have led, directed and guided the agencies and units of the provincial armed forces to closely coordinate with local forces and units located in the area to effectively implement mass mobilization work.
Agencies and units have developed plans and organized field trips to do mass mobilization work, combined with new rural construction in religious areas, ethnic minorities and mountainous areas. The Border Guard Command and the Provincial Police effectively implemented the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority Areas for the 2021-2030 period. They focused on implementing social policies and military rear areas well, supporting the construction of "Houses of Gratitude", "Houses of Comrades", and "Houses of Great Unity".
During the year, the Steering Committee of Project 2036 of the Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and Party committees and authorities to mobilize over 1 billion VND to implement Project 2036.
From 2023 to present, the Provincial Military Command has directed and organized the construction of many typical models in the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" and building "Good mass mobilization units". Focusing on 2 models: "Solidarity, poverty reduction, building strong borders", "Sustainable poverty reduction and building civilized residential areas, free of crime", associated with the programs: "Light of the countryside", "Join hands to weave spring colors at the border", "Livelihood model", "Accompanying border women", "Godmother", "Bowl of water on the training ground"...
Thereby, contributing to improving people's lives, building a strong grassroots political system, and strengthening military-civilian relations.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4, Colonel Thai Duc Hanh requested that in the coming time, the Steering Committee of Project 2036 of the Provincial Military Command continue to closely coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations to promote propaganda and mobilize people to successfully implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws.
Implement the objectives of Project 2036 in conjunction with the implementation of the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization", national target programs, projects on socio-economic development, local defense and security, and ongoing emulation movements.
Focus on building new models and good practices. Actively participate in building the political system at the grassroots level; participate in building new rural areas; overcome the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue, contribute to strengthening the great national unity bloc, maintaining political security and social order and safety.
