Doveco Son La Vegetable and Fruit Processing Center has an area of over 9 hectares, applying closed vegetable and fruit processing technology from linking production, purchasing raw materials; refined processing, deep processing and domestic sales and export business system; with an expected scale of 52,000 tons of products/year.
Including frozen production lines with a capacity of 20,000 tons of products/year; canned food lines with a capacity of 20,000 tons of products/year; drying lines and other products with a capacity of 12,000 tons of products/year. The entire machinery system is manufactured using modern technology from Italy, Japan and China.
Currently, the Company has also installed an iron can processing line with a capacity of 300 cans/minute and a lychee freeze-drying line with a capacity of 120 tons/day to suit the raw material area and product structure in Son La.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Dinh Cao Khue, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company emphasized: Doveco Son La's top priority is to maximize the consumption of locally available raw materials such as mango, corn, longan, spinach, soybeans and other fruits and vegetables, ensuring a sustainable output market for Son La fruits in particular and the Northwest region in general.
It is known that every year, Doveco Son La can process about 500,000 tons of various agricultural products. To ensure raw material sources, Doveco Son La has coordinated with localities in the province to review land funds and build raw material areas based on climate and soil characteristics suitable for different types of crops.
Up to now, Doveco Son La has signed contracts with nearly 50 enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative groups to provide seeds, fertilizers, and materials with guaranteed quality (without interest); send technical staff to guide farmers in production according to food safety and hygiene procedures, creating products that meet standards. There are policies to support farmers in case of risks and natural disasters and commit to purchasing products.
Thereby, contributing to changing the farming practices of the people from traditional, primitive methods to applying technology, science and technology; creating jobs for local workers working directly at the Factory and tens of thousands of indirect workers in the province. From there, changing the face of Son La's agriculture in particular and the Northwest region in general.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Son La Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Dong emphasized: With climate and soil conditions very suitable for developing high-quality fruit trees, Son La currently has over 83,000 hectares of fruit trees, hawthorn, with an estimated output of over 450,000 tons. The construction of the Doveco Son La Vegetable and Fruit Processing Center is a project in line with the socio-economic development orientation, a priority area for attracting investment in the province in the period of 2020-2025 and the following years.
In the coming time, the Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee committed to accompany the Company, requesting the Company to focus resources on implementation to ensure quality and progress; strictly comply with regulations on planning, land, investment, construction, environmental protection; purchase agricultural products, and link production appropriately, harmonizing the interests of enterprises - cooperatives - people.
Assign departments, branches, sectors, districts and cities to continue developing safe and sustainable raw material areas, connecting and building raw material supply chains associated with processing of households, cooperatives, enterprises and factories.
On this occasion, Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company organized a signing ceremony for cooperation with cooperatives supplying raw materials for the factory and export partners.
