Attending the conference to review the work of 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024 of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) on the morning of December 29 in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang emphasized the requirement to absolutely not be subjective in press management work, and to have solutions to end "fighting" in the press.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the Ministry of Information and Communications must respond quickly and intervene to promptly eliminate harmful information because if it spreads widely, the consequences will be unpredictable.
Along with good press management, under the pressure of social networks, the Ministry needs to have solutions to improve the quality and competitiveness of the press so that journalists can survive and stay in the profession; continue to implement phase 2 of the Press Development and Management Plan until 2025; pay more attention to the book market and publishers.

Sharing the difficulties of press agencies, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that there should soon be specific mechanisms and policies, especially for press agencies, because if press agencies such as VTV and VOV are considered as businesses competing equally, it will be difficult to complete the assigned political tasks.
Regarding the field of digital transformation, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this is the "salvation" solution in administrative reform. To achieve the development goals by 2030 and 2045, we must take shortcuts and get ahead, and we can only take shortcuts and get ahead with science and technology and digital transformation.
Regarding institutional building, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Information and Communications to respond promptly to requirements, and the quality of documents must be up to standard to minimize amendments and supplements after promulgation.

Especially those in leadership and management positions must be kind to comrades, brothers, and subordinates, so that everyone can share responsibility, risks, and even benefits.
