The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a Plan to organize the Hanoi Digital Pho Program in 2024. This is an activity taking place within the framework of the Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival in 2024 to honor the "Traditional Pho of Hanoi" and introduce to the people about "Digital Pho", along with the application of technology and digital transformation in the Vietnamese culinary industry.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Pho Digital program will bring Pho into the world of the digital age, where technology is applied to highlight the beauty of the cuisine for thousands of years. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy "Hanoi's traditional Pho" dishes and experience a completely new and modern "Pho Digital".

Specifically, at the “Pho so” booth, visitors will be introduced to the application of technology and digital transformation in Pho processing. Along with that, visitors can also experience traditional Pho prepared and served by smart robots.

The Hanoi Pho Digital Program and the Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2024 are promotional activities to turn “Hanoi Pho” into a national intangible cultural heritage. The program also contributes to proposing a policy to allow the construction of a national “Pho” dossier and requesting UNESCO to include it in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

According to the assignment of implementation, the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee will be the standing agency responsible for chairing this activity.

The Hanoi Department of Information and Communications will be responsible for coordinating the promotion of the heritage value of "Pho Hanoi" and the application of technology and digital transformation in the culinary field (Pho) on mass media and social networks.
