Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, presented meaningful gifts to police officers and relatives of police martyrs.

Also attending were Mr. Pham Duc Tien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee; Nguyen Chi Tai, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, member of the City Party Committee, Director of Hue City Police and more than 350 officers and members of the Liaison Committee of the Police supporting the Southern battlefield, and relatives of martyrs of the Police supporting the Southern battlefield.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the delegates were moved and recalled the unforgettable days in the cadre class supporting the South during the resistance war against the US to save the country, determined to gain independence and freedom for the Fatherland. At the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security sent his regards and best wishes to the delegates and the families of the martyrs of the Public Security.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung stated: "One of the reasons for the victory of the Southern Security Forces is the comprehensive support of the People's Public Security Forces, the Party Delegation and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security."

The People's Public Security Force always respects and is grateful for the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations of public security officers and soldiers in general, and the public security officers supporting the southern battlefield in particular. The heroic sacrifices and great contributions of you, my brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles in the resistance war against the US to save the country will forever be the pride of generations of public security officers and soldiers today and tomorrow.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security expressed his hope that the police officers who supported the Southern battlefield in the past and the individuals who worked and fought in the battlefields during the resistance war against the US would continue to monitor and contribute ideas to build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modern People's Police force. At the same time, he would pay attention to contributing enthusiastic ideas so that the People's Police force could promote its glorious heroic tradition, effectively carry out the movement "People's Police studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings" and the emulation movements "For the security of the Fatherland"...

On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung also presented over 200 meaningful gifts to representatives of police officers and relatives of police martyrs who supported the southern battlefield during the resistance war against the US to save the country.
