Exhibition on important milestones of Hue city

On the afternoon of March 25, at the Hue City Cultural and Cinema Center, the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibitions "95 years under the glorious Party flag" and "50-year mark - Hue strives to enter a new era of development" took place.

The exhibition introduces more than 400 valuable documents, images and artifacts, bringing viewers back to important milestones during 95 years of accompanying the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Among them, the most prominent are images and artifacts currently kept at the Hue City History Museum such as: oil lamps, garrison uniforms, ammunition baskets, document cases... associated with our soldiers in the two resistance wars.

In particular, the H12 rocket system was equipped for Company 14, Regiment 4, Tri Thien Military Region. The Liberation Army soldiers used this rocket system to attack Pho Lai base, Phong Son commune, Phong Dien district on March 8, 1975, opening the general offensive and uprising in Spring 1975, liberating Hue.

If the historical exhibition area takes visitors back to the glorious past, the area "50-year mark - Hue reaching out to a new era of development" opens up the image of a renewed and modern Hue, with steady progress in all fields.

The exhibition space also has a dedicated area displaying images and models of projects to preserve and promote the value of Hue's cultural heritage, helping people and visitors better understand the efforts to preserve traditional values ​​that the city is making.

In addition, the area displaying typical products of Hue city introduces local handicrafts and OCOP products, export items such as textiles, fibers, weaving, industrial wood, ceramic tiles, seafood, rubber...

The documents and artifacts displayed at the event affirmed that Hue is not only a heritage city, but also a dynamic, creative and potential urban area. This is also a valuable opportunity for people and tourists to understand more deeply the history and future of the ancient capital, where the past and present intersect to move towards a new era of development.
