- Hundreds of children receive free examination and surgery at Hospital 1A
Medical delegation from Tokyo Smile Foundation and Dalhousie University arrived at Hospital 1A
This is the first cooperation between the Hospital and the Tokyo Smile Foundation, Dalhousie University. The delegation includes 16 doctors and medical staff from the two organizations. Hospital 1A has cooperated many times to examine and perform free surgeries for children with congenital disabilities, burn scars, cleft palates, and cleft palates with many international organizations over the years. Through these meaningful medical care programs, thousands of unfortunate children, poor families, congenital disabilities, burn scars, and cleft palates have received free surgeries and have been given wings to a brighter future.

Dr. Ngo Anh Tuan - Deputy Director in charge of the Hospital had a working session with the delegation. At the meeting, Dr. Ngo Anh Tuan expressed his sincere thanks to the two organizations for their cooperation with the Hospital, and the good feelings that the medical team has for the unfortunate children in Vietnam. Professor Takeshi Uchiyama, representative of the Tokyo Smile Foundation and Professor Jean Charles Doucet from Dalhouse University also expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome of the Hospital and expressed their desire to continue to cooperate with the Hospital in the coming years.

Tokyo Smile Organization and Dalhousie University (Canada) will work with the Hospital throughout this week, from November 27 to December 2, to examine and perform free surgery for children with cleft palates.
