Hospital 1A continues to organize free burn scar surgery

(Dan Sinh) - Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital (Hospital 1A) will coordinate with Children Action (Switzerland) to perform free surgery for children with burn scars and contractures.

On October 4, Hospital 1A informed that on October 12, the hospital is expected to coordinate with Children Action (Switzerland) to perform free surgery for children with scarring and burn contractures.

Coming to the hospital, patients are screened, prescribed orthopedic surgery, skin grafting, and orthopedic braces for free by dedicated, experienced specialists.

The free burn scar surgery project is an annual project at Hospital 1A and Children Action Organization.

Accordingly, this time the medical team will perform free surgery for 20 patients. After registering, the patients will be examined and operated on at Hospital 1A (No. 1A Ly Thuong Kiet, Ward 7, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City).

Hospital 1A announced that due to limited quantity, the hospital will accept information from the date of announcement until the quantity is sufficient.

It is known that the free burn scar surgery project is an annual project at Hospital 1A and Children Action Organization.

Over the past 10 years, the hospital and the organization have conducted more than 30 surgeries, bringing many good results for children. Up to now, more than 500 children have received free surgery.
