Abu Dhabi Country Club led the home team Ho Chi Minh City 3-0 after 45 minutes. However, the representative from UAE lost 4-5 due to an own goal at the end of the match.

While the girls of the HCMC women's team celebrated with emotion, the players of Abu Dhabi Country almost collapsed. They were both tired and disappointed by the cruel scenario at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC).

Entering the press conference room, Ms. Sara Hassanien could not hide her personal emotions. Before answering reporters' questions, the Egyptian coach apologized for her sore throat.

It seemed that Ms. Sara Hassanien shared this defeat with her students in tears before the press conference. The emotions were still intact in Ms. Sara's eyes, face and voice.

Evaluating the result, coach Sara said: "I am satisfied that the players experienced a valuable match against one of the experienced teams in the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Women's Tournament.

Abu Dhabi Country were unfortunate to suffer defeat but the players played until the last second. We hold our heads high as we represent UAE women's football at the continental tournament."

The coach of Abu Dhabi Country did not hesitate to praise the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club: "The Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club is a team with excellent individuals and very good tactical organization. Stopping in the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League Women 2024-2025, Ms. Sara praised the Abu Dhabi Country team for their efforts to be here, representing UAE women's football.
