In order to continue developing utilities and diversifying payment channels, better meeting the increasing demand for online transactions of customers, SHB cooperates with the General Department of Taxation to deploy the service of electronic personal tax/fee payment via the eTax Mobile electronic application. Accordingly, with just a smartphone or tablet with Internet connection, customers with an account or debit card at SHB can completely proactively pay personal income tax, car and motorbike registration tax, etc. via the eTax Mobile application of the General Department of Taxation easily, anytime, anywhere. This helps taxpayers save on travel costs, time, and waiting effort because they do not have to pay directly at the bank or State Treasury. To experience the tax payment feature on the eTax Mobile application, customers only need to link their SHB account according to the following steps: Step 1 : Customers download and install the eTax Mobile application on their smartphone or tablet (Android/IOS operating system); Step 2 : Log in to the application, select "Link account"; Step 3: Select SHB and fill in all required information; Step 4 : Verify OTP and complete the linking process. After successful linking, customers select SHB as the debit account to pay taxes and fees as normal personal financial transactions.
