eTax Mobile tax application connects 23 banks

(NLDO) – The Tax Department of Region II said that the eTax Mobile application has linked with many banks and has the function of supporting individuals in tax settlement.

On March 6, the Tax Department of Region II (HCMC Tax Department - converted into the Tax Department of Region II (HCMC area) - announced that it has just issued a document guiding the finalization of personal income tax (PIT) in 2024 for income-paying organizations and individuals directly finalizing PIT with tax authorities.

Accordingly, income-paying organizations must submit personal income tax finalization declarations no later than the last day of March 2025.

For individuals who directly settle personal income tax, submit the application no later than the last day of April 2025. In case an individual has a personal income tax refund but is late in submitting the tax settlement declaration, no administrative penalty will be applied for declaring and settling tax after the deadline.

The Tax Department of Region II encourages individuals to declare and pay taxes electronically on the eTax Mobiel application created by the tax industry. This application has many supporting functions such as changing tax registration information, looking up dependent information, declaring and automatically settling personal income tax with suggested personal income tax settlement declarations, to help individuals create and submit tax settlement declarations quickly and simply based on the information of income-paying organizations declaring taxes and will automatically process personal income tax refunds (if any).

In particular, taxpayers can track all tax debts (if any), look up total income for the year and report to the tax authorities any incorrect information about income declared by companies (avoiding cases of false declaration).

In addition, the Tax Department of Region II also said that the Etaxmobile application has linked with 23 banks including: BIDV, Vietcombank, MB, TPBank, HDBank, ACB, SCB, OCB, Shinhan Bank, VietinBank, Eximbank, VietABank, Agribank, Saigonbank, BVBank, VIB, VRB, Sacombank, VPBank, Techcombank, LPBank, Wooribank, SHB to facilitate taxpayers to pay taxes online.

On the website http://tphcm.gdt.gov.vn of the Tax Department of Region II, software and documents guiding the installation of the e Tax Mobile application, steps for registering an electronic transaction account, and declaring and settling personal income tax have been posted for individuals and organizations paying income to do so electronically.
