From the beginning of 2023 until now, the "House of Love" Program of Ap Bac Newspaper, funded by Tien Giang Lottery Company Limited, has supported 5 poor and disadvantaged families to repair and build new houses. Up to now, all 5 families have been handed over new houses.
During the recent house handover trips, the implementers of the “Humanitarian House” Program of Ap Bac Newspaper visited and presented gifts to congratulate the disadvantaged families who received financial support for building and repairing their houses. The old, dilapidated houses in the past have now been replaced with new, spacious houses, and everyone is excited.

Mr. Pham Thanh Tuan (residing in Nhi Quy commune, Cai Lay town, Tien Giang province) is the person who just received a house from Ap Bac Newspaper on August 4. Mr. Tuan shared: “My family's situation is very difficult, thanks to the locality and Ap Bac Newspaper mobilizing Tien Giang Lottery Company to sponsor 50 million VND to build a house, my family has a solid place to live, a stable life. My wife and I will try to work hard to develop the family economy”.
It is known that Mr. Tuan had a work accident 4 years ago, his family had to borrow money everywhere to pay for treatment and daily expenses. His family's already difficult life became even more difficult when the economic burden of the family fell on his wife's shoulders. His eldest son, although very studious, had to quit school to work with his mother to sew handbags at home due to the family's difficult circumstances and his mother's hard work, earning about 150,000 VND per day, but the job was not stable because it depended on orders. Although the family had tried to work hard and save money for many years, they still did not have the conditions to build a new house.
Therefore, immediately after mobilizing support funds, Ap Bac Newspaper coordinated with Nhi Quy Commune authorities and the family to prepare documents and quickly start construction of the house. On behalf of the local authorities and Mr. Tuan's family, Deputy Secretary of Nhi Quy Commune Party Committee Le Thi Thu Van sent her thanks to Ap Bac Newspaper and Tien Giang Lottery Company Limited for their attention and care for the social life in Nhi Quy Commune.
At the same time, he asked Mr. Tuan's family to continue to work hard to have the conditions to renovate the house to make it more complete and spacious. He hoped that the sponsors would continue to support other difficult circumstances in the province in general and Nhi Quy commune in particular, to contribute to the province in taking care of difficult circumstances to have a better life.
