(Dan Tri) - Train SE1 traveling through Quang Ngai province was hit by rocks, breaking two windows. Police extracted images from the train's dash cam to investigate and discovered that the perpetrators were a group of students aged 11-14.
On March 17, Nghia Trung Commune Police (Tu Nghia District, Quang Ngai Province) invited 7 students and their guardians to work on the incident of throwing rocks that broke the glass of train SE1.
The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. on March 16. At that time, train SE1 was moving through Nghia Trung commune, Tu Nghia district and was stoned. The incident broke two windows of train SE1, threatening the safety of passengers on board.
Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch (Vietnam Railway Corporation) reported the incident to Nghia Trung Commune Police.

Police extracted images from the train's dash cam, combined with information provided by the people to investigate and find the perpetrators. Through that, the police identified a group of 7 students aged 11-14 who threw rocks at train SE1.
Through working with the police, 3 students admitted to throwing rocks at the train, the remaining students said they did not participate.
Nghia Trung Commune Police continue to verify the incident, on that basis coordinate with Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch to handle it according to regulations.
According to the Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch, from 2024 to now, trains moving through Quang Ngai have been stoned 6 times. The stone throwing incidents broke the train windows, causing damage to the railway industry.
