Many exciting matches at the 2025 State Bank Open Pickleball Tournament

(Dan Tri) - On the morning of March 22 in Hanoi, the final matches of the 2025 State Bank Open Pickleball Tournament took place with great drama and excitement.

The event is a practical activity to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8); the Founding Day of the Trade Union at the grassroots level of the Trade Union of the Central State Bank of Vietnam (April 27, 2012 - April 27, 2025) and the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the Bank of Vietnam (May 6, 1951 - May 6, 2025).

The tournament is meaningful in contributing to improving spiritual life, encouraging union members and employees of the Central Bank to actively exercise, improve physical strength, and contribute to improving the quality of the Central Bank's staff in the new period.

The special feature of this year's tournament is the expansion of its scale with the participation of athletes from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Finance.

This is not only an opportunity for athletes to compete and spread the spirit of sportsmanship, but also an opportunity for units to exchange, learn and strengthen cooperative relationships between ministries and branches.

Athletes compete in 5 categories including men's singles; women's singles; men's doubles; women's doubles and mixed doubles. Athletes are divided into groups by draw, then compete in a round robin to enter the knockout round.

After 2 days of intense competition, the tournament found the best athletes to win the highest positions in all 5 categories. At the end of the tournament, the organizing committee awarded 5 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 10 third prizes to the athletes with excellent achievements.
