After a long absence from the small screen, IU returns as the female lead in the drama When Life Gives You Tangerines. The project aired in March and quickly became a hit in many Asian countries.

In February 2020, Gucci officially announced IU as its brand ambassador in Korea, and confirmed that she would attend the Fall/Winter 2020 Collection launch event.
Since then, the female singer has actively participated in activities in the fashion and beauty industry with Gucci, regularly appearing on the red carpet and many important projects with luxurious designs from the Italian fashion house.
2021 marked an important milestone in IU's career when she appeared in the "Gucci Beloved" promotional campaign, introducing the brand's four iconic bag lines.

Although she does not have an official title with Chaumet, IU has been favored by the French luxury jewelry brand many times to sponsor accessories for important events, from award ceremony red carpets to public appearances.
In May 2022, IU surprised fashionistas when she wore a Chaumet Joséphine Aigrette necklace worth about 89,000 USD (more than 2.2 billion VND) on the red carpet of the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
In addition, IU also used earrings from House of Chaumet, worth about 16,000 USD (more than 408 million VND).
This is the Blueming singer's first time working with a French luxury brand. Previously, IU was only associated with J.Estina - a domestic jewelry brand - as an advertising model.




At the end of February, IU collaborated with actor Cha Eun Woo - Chaumet's global ambassador - and many other famous artists around the world. She became the representative face of the Bee de Chaumet jewelry line that celebrates harmony and symbolizes the modern spirit.
Set in a corner of Seoul near Namsan Mountain (South Korea), the new campaign series captures the modern lifestyle and multi-dimensional beauty of Bee de Chaumet - a jewelry collection inspired by the hexagonal shape of a honeycomb.
In denim and a healthy white shirt, the two representative faces appeared in the same frame for the first time, expressing the youthful spirit and harmony of the collection.

In April 2024, IU became the first Korean global ambassador of Estée Lauder, alongside world-famous faces such as Ana de Armas, Amanda Gorman, Bianca, Duong Mich...
Not long after, the female singer born in 1993 quickly participated in promotional campaigns for the brand's two main skin care product lines, Advanced Night Repair and Double Wear.
