This year's Can Tho Youth Festival creates a bridge to help Can Tho's young people's startup ideas and projects come into practice and create economic profits.

On November 17, Can Tho City Youth Union and Vietnam Youth Union of Can Tho City jointly organized Can Tho Youth Festival - Youthfest 2024, with the theme "Startup - Innovation - Creativity".
The program attracted more than 500 Can Tho youth union members to participate in activities such as visiting and experiencing startup products, listening to the sharing about the startup journey of successful startups, and the performance of the Festival of typical youth clubs, teams, and groups of Can Tho city with the theme "Can Tho, the city I love" ...
The festival includes 20 booths displaying products and startup projects in the fields of information technology, food processing, cosmetics and many startup ideas and projects that won prizes in startup competitions in 2024.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Tu Thien - Deputy Secretary of Can Tho City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Can Tho City - said that start-ups and innovation are not only a trend, but also an inevitable direction to help young people affirm their position and make positive contributions to the national economy.
Creative and daring young people have created pioneering products and services, contributing to the city's development.
"This festival creates a playground for young people to show their talents, promote their youth, and create a space to connect innovative and creative startup ideas and projects, from which these ideas and projects can call for more investment capital from businesses or support loans, support training, and transfer scientific and technological advances to young people...", Mr. Thien emphasized.
At the festival, the organizing committee awarded prizes to the final round of the Can Tho Youth Startup Ideas and Projects Competition 2024.
The first prize went to the Creative Kids Edu project (equipment to support STEM teaching, learning and research), the second prize went to the Seed Armor project by student Thach Hoang Anh (Can Tho University), the third prize went to the iOT eel farming water management system project and the consolation prize went to the two projects Cocovimilk Yogurt and Cold Room Oxygen Conditioning Equipment.
