Hunting surreal sunsets on Ba Den mountain from Dau Tieng lake

The South is entering the hot season, but at the entertainment and camping spots near Dau Tieng Lake, the weather is still quite pleasant, especially in the morning and late in the day.

Just go to Dau Tieng District, Binh Duong, and you will set foot in the Dau Tieng Lake basin, although most of the area of this artificial lake is located in Tay Ninh province.

The photo above is of the lakeside area in Dong Sen hamlet, Dinh An commune, Dau Tieng district. The space is quiet, occasionally echoing the sound of forest birds. The temperature is quite high, but on the lakeside, there is wind so the air is still fresh.

Many kinds of flowers, especially bougainvillea, are in full bloom.

There are a number of tourist facilities here, attracting visitors to stay, rest overnight or eat and check-in during the day. The weather is still in the dry season, so the bougainvillea is in full bloom, showing off its brilliant colors.

In the morning, guests gather to eat, drink, and stroll around. When the sun is hot, many people retreat to their houses, huts, and refreshment stalls. In the late afternoon, the weather cools down, and guests go out to sightsee, take photos, cycle, and row boats.

No matter what they do, many people still actively wait for the sunset to reach its most beautiful moment. The sun slowly sets in the distance, giving everyone enough time to prepare their cameras and phones to pose in the sunset.

The sky and the lake were now tinged with yellow, separated only by a faint grey strip of land. The quiet space was occasionally disturbed by flocks of birds calling to each other or by a motorboat crossing the lake.

In fact, Ba Den Mountain is not near Dau Tieng Lake, but from the perspective of the shore of this 270 ^km2 reservoir , the roof of the South seems to be next to the lake. The highest mountain in the South stands firmly in the western sky, seemingly lost in the space of the lake.

At this time of year, late spring and early summer, the direction of the setting sun is slightly behind Ba Den Mountain. Many tourists enjoy watching the red sun touch the mountainside and then "hide" behind the dark mountain, to remember the "surreal" scene of nature.

A group of young women gathered around the lake in the late afternoon. They did not take souvenir photos out of habit, nor did they take selfies out of reflex, they just sat chatting, eating snacks, and watching the sunset. When the sun had set but not yet completely gone, they were still there, relaxing in the beautiful space of the day.
