On February 5, information from Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary and Secondary School (An Don Ward, Quang Tri Town, Quang Tri Province) said that the school has just announced to all students and parents to raise vigilance against the appearance of strangers coming to school to lure students.
Before that, at the end of school on February 4, PGT, a 6th grade student, and her friends went to the school gate to wait for their parents to pick them up. At this time, a strange woman appeared at the gate, her face covered, approached T. and enticed her to pick her up.
The school leader said that, according to T., this woman was quite old and was riding a motorbike. During the few minutes they approached, this person repeatedly urged T. to take her away, but T. said that a relative was coming to pick her up.
Luckily, student T's parents arrived in time, and the strange woman quickly left.
T.'s family and her confirmed that they did not know this strange woman and did not ask anyone to pick her up that day.
It is known that the situation of strangers coming to school gates to entice students in Quang Tri town has appeared many times, so vigilance is needed from both parents and students.
Regarding the incident, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri said that they have not received a report from the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri town and are re-checking.
