Today, March 2, the Border Guard Command of Quang Tri province said that its forces had just provided timely first aid and treatment to a fisherman who had an accident while working at sea.

Specifically, at 9:30 a.m. the same day, the Coast Guard's patrol, control and surveillance fleet of fishing activities at sea was performing its duties at sea when it received a request for emergency aid for a fisherman who had a work accident on fishing boat QT 9331 TS.
Immediately afterwards, the patrol team approached the fishing boat and brought it to Con Co island port to promptly provide first aid to the fisherman in distress. The border medical team quickly examined and treated the fisherman in distress, Mr. Luong Van Duoc (born in 1979), residing in Cua Viet town, Gio Linh district.
Mr. Duoc had an accident while removing a fishing net stuck in the propeller of a ship and was hit by a wave, causing injury.
Currently, Mr. Luong Van Duoc is conscious and his health is basically stable.
