* On the afternoon of October 13, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with Party committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office to listen to the results of the implementation of tasks in the third quarter and orient key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Regarding the key tasks in the coming time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that the Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office need to focus on doing a good job of advising on summarizing the work in 2023. In particular, the important task that the Standing Committee is interested in is directing and summarizing Party building activities in the whole province in 2023.
Along with that, Party committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office need to focus on building a work plan for 2024, with a special focus on inspection work.
* On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the Party Organization and Building sector's tradition day (October 14), the Party's Mass Mobilization Work tradition day (October 15), the Party Committee Office tradition day (October 18) and the 74th anniversary of the Party Inspection sector's establishment (October 16), comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, on behalf of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, presented flowers to congratulate the collective leadership and staff of the Organization Committee, the Mass Mobilization Committee, the Inspection Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Office.
* On the morning of October 13, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council had a working session with provincial departments and branches according to the supervision program of the Provincial People's Council on the implementation of a number of resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on mechanisms and policies for investment in socio-economic development in the province from the beginning of the 2021-2026 term to present.
Pointing out some shortcomings and limitations in implementing resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nam Dinh noted that departments and branches should focus on coordinating with localities to promote propaganda work; review needs and make realistic estimates to overcome the situation of low disbursement rate compared to allocated capital.
Along with that, departments and branches need to focus on reviewing and implementing mechanisms and policies that have not been implemented or have been implemented slowly; proactively reviewing obstacles and administrative procedures to remove them or make recommendations and proposals from all levels to remove them.
* On the morning of October 13, the Department of Science and Technology coordinated with Vinh University to organize the opening ceremony of the Nghe An Open Innovation and Startup Festival 2023 - Techfest Nghe An open 2023.
Techfest Nghe An open 2023 has many exciting activities, taking place from October 11 to 13, including: Displaying and introducing typical startup products, science and technology products; Final round of the contest "Searching for innovative startup talents in Nghe An open in 2023"; Workshop "Promoting connection and development of the innovative startup ecosystem in the North Central region"; Investment connection conference in 2023; Talk show "Application of blockchain in digital transformation".
In particular, on the evening of October 13, the Nghe An Science and Technology Innovation Award Ceremony for the period 2020-2023 will take place, awarding the Nghe An Open Innovation and Startup Talent Search Contest 2023 and honoring the province's outstanding scientists.
* Regarding the Innovation and Startup Festival, on October 3, 2023, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long signed and issued Decision No. 3150/QD-UBND on rewarding scientific and technological innovations in 2023.
Accordingly, this year, 75 works were awarded, including 1 Special Prize, 14 First Prizes, 19 Second Prizes, 21 Third Prizes and 20 Encouragement Prizes.
* After Nghe An province banned localities from lending or renting communal halls and cultural houses to organize product introductions and sales, recently, many companies have switched to renting private homes and village chiefs' houses, then attracting the elderly to attend seminars and continue selling.
