This activity aims to promote and expand cooperation opportunities, support innovative startups in Da Nang city, share experiences in designing and operating innovative spaces, and support policies for businesses in New South Wales.
According to the representative of NSW Investment, New South Wales is a safe and attractive destination for doing business and promoting investment in priority areas such as clean technology, advanced manufacturing, international education, and medical technology... At NSW Investment, there are programs and policies to support innovative startups, criteria for selecting businesses, and opportunities for startups in Da Nang.
Through the connection of the city's Department of Science and Technology and the representative of the Vietnam Innovation Network in Australia, Da Nang startups can access the International Landing Pad program of NSW Investment to use free workplaces and co-working spaces at the innovation space in Sydney, Australia for 3 months and support with legal procedures when opening offices and developing businesses in New South Wales.
At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Thi Thuc introduced the potential of the innovative startup ecosystem in Da Nang, emphasizing the high-quality human resources and dynamism of startups in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence and semiconductor chips.
NSW Investment representative highly appreciated the development of the innovative startup ecosystem and the potential and strengths of Da Nang; at the same time expressed the desire to visit Da Nang and discuss in more depth the contents of cooperation between the two sides as well as support cooperation between businesses, investment funds, and business incubators in Australia to Da Nang and support Da Nang innovative startups to access the market in New South Wales.
