Organizing folk dance performances in response to "Ao Dai Week" in 2025

(BTNO) - On the morning of March 2, at the square - the memorial of the province's heroic martyrs, the provincial Women's Union (WU) organized the launching ceremony of "Ao Dai Week" and a folk dance performance in Ao Dai costumes.

The activity aims to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025), the 1985th anniversary of the Trung Sisters' Uprising.

About 1,000 women performed folk dances in traditional Vietnamese costumes to the song "A Country Full of Joy".

This event continues to promote the success of the series of activities responding to "Ao Dai Week" from 2019 to present . Thereby creating a ripple effect in the community, affirming and honoring the value of Ao Dai in life; arousing love, pride and responsibility to preserve and promote Vietnamese cultural heritage.

Through the folk dance performance, the Provincial Women's Union encourages women to continue to show their love for sports, regularly practice and exercise to improve their health following the call of President Ho Chi Minh.

Delegates marched with red flags with stars in their hands to show their love for the Fatherland.

About 1,000 women from the Women's Unions of districts, towns and cities; Tay Ninh Pedagogical College; Provincial Police Women's Union; Provincial Border Guard Command Women's Union; Folk Dance Club of the Provincial Cultural Center; 20/10 Kindergarten and Phuoc Ninh Kindergarten (Duong Minh Chau district) participated in the event. Everyone performed folk dances to the song "The Country is Full of Joy" and marched with the red flag with a yellow star and the song "Song of Vietnamese Women".

About 1,000 women marched with red flags with yellow stars in their hands to show their love for the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union received support from Tam Duc Smile Dental System, Tay Ninh branch, with 1,000 dental care packages, each worth 2 million VND and 10 million VND in cash; Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd., Tay Ninh branch supported 1,250 bottles of yakult yogurt drink.

Ms. Kim Thi Minh - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union received sponsorship from Tam Duc Smile Dental System, Tay Ninh branch and Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd., Tay Ninh branch.

Before that, delegates performed the incense offering and flower offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for independence today.
