- In Binh Dinh, the 93rd Regiment and Tuy Phuoc District armed forces attacked the puppet army in Phuoc Hiep and Cho Huyen. The province's special forces battalion also destroyed the Truong Uc position.

- On the Truong Son route, the 99th Engineer Regiment of the Truong Son Command organized mine clearance to build a bridge across the Thach Han River, ensuring that the mechanized infantry could attack and liberate Thua Thien-Hue from the north. On the southern direction of Hue, the Truong Son engineers also promptly repaired Truoi Bridge, Thua Luu Bridge, and Tuan Wharf, which were destroyed by the enemy when they fled.
