On Sunday, March 23, Women's Publishing House coordinated with Sachee Family Reading Club to organize an experience session in Phu Thuong village (Tay Ho, Hanoi) to learn about Ms. Doan Thi Diem with writer Le Phuong Lien (author of two books "Doan Thi Diem" and Nu si thoi gio dust) under the name "Following the footsteps of Ms. Hong Ha".

In addition to learning about Ms. Hong Ha, this is also an opportunity for families to learn about the village culture, through learning about the village's history, visiting the village temple, and enjoying the village's specialties.

This is a book reading model organized by the Vietnam Women's Publishing House for testing in 2024 through the Sachee Family Reading Club with 4 programs on science, gender, books for teens, and books on family finances. In 2025, the Publishing House will bring the family reading club model to the outside with picnics in and outside the capital Hanoi.

“Ti’s Story” is a collection of short stories and essays marking the return of writer Phan Thi Vang Anh, one of the most beloved writers of contemporary Vietnamese literature. This is a gentle work that records simple stories of everyday life with a subtle writing style that makes familiar things strange.

Everyone has a "family story" - stories that seem small, trivial, and not worth paying attention to. But under the sharp and graceful pen of Phan Thi Vang Anh, those seemingly simple things become a mirror reflecting human behavior and psychology in modern society, revealing how people live with themselves and with each other.

Also this week, “UK Children’s Picture Book Week: Explore, Dream, Create” organized by Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with ICBC and the British Council, will take place with many exciting activities for young readers. The event just opened on the afternoon of March 21 at Kim Dong Publishing House, 55 Quang Trung, Hanoi.

On Saturday, March 22, the event “A date with Titler the fish - a great storyteller” takes place at 10am, for young readers. On the same day, the event “From the book opens - Learning and exploring the world with children through the pages of children's books” takes place from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, for teachers.

On Sunday, March 23, the event "Whispering Reading - The Absent-minded Cat" takes place at 10am, for young readers.

“UK Children’s Picture Book Week: Explore, Dream, Create” is an initiative of ICBC, organized with the companionship of Kim Dong Publishing House and the support of the British Council in Vietnam, to arouse the joy of reading and curiosity of children about the world around them through exhibitions, displays and creative reading for children; guide teachers on how to exploit the content and illustrations of children’s books to organize reading hours and attractive and effective supplementary activities, helping students feel the joy of reading and discover interesting knowledge and lessons from books.
