On June 22, for the first time in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Moscow launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the Sea of Azov, after withdrawing this type of weapon from the Black Sea.

Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk revealed the information to state television, emphasizing the change in tactics of the Russian Navy.
“Four missiles were launched from the Sea of Azov and this is an important turning point because they (the Russian Navy) are using this sea and consider it a safer area than the Black Sea,” Mr. Pletenchuk said.
According to this official, the Russian military has also begun deploying military ships in the Azov Sea instead of the Black Sea due to safety requirements.
A Ukrainian Navy representative said there is a submarine in the Black Sea, carrying up to four cruise missiles. In addition, three other Russian Navy warships are present in the Sea of Azov, with a total capacity of up to 24 missiles.
"The missile launch from the Sea of Azov shows that Moscow considers this region safer than the Black Sea, where Russian ships are more vulnerable to Kiev's USVs," Pletenchuk stressed.
Satellite images confirm that Moscow has moved three warships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles to the Sea of Azov. These are believed to be three missile corvettes of the Buyan-M class of Project 21631, including the Vyshniy Volochek, Ingushetia and Grayvoron, with a total capacity of 24 Kalibr missiles.
* Also on June 22, in an interview with Interfax , Deputy Chief of Staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Mr. Igor Zhovkva, said that Kiev plans to hold the second peace summit later this year.
"We want to hold the second peace summit before the end of this year. This process should not be delayed. Ukraine wants peace as soon as possible," said Igor Zhovkva.
However, this official said that Kiev certainly does not want peace based on Moscow's so-called recognition of reality, "Kiev cannot accept Russia's request to withdraw troops from four regions".
Sharing more about the second peace conference, Mr. Zhovkva said that this event could be organized by a country in the Southern Hemisphere, but refused to name any specific country.
At Kiev's request, on June 15-16, Switzerland hosted the first Ukraine peace conference, with the participation of more than 90 countries and international organizations, but without Russia.
The conference focused on three key points in Ukrainian President Zelensky's "peace formula", including prisoner exchange, food security and nuclear.
