Do not use an umbrella when driving a motorbike...", a representative of the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police advised.

For car drivers, it is necessary to reduce speed, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front, and limit sudden braking.

"Drivers should turn on low beams or fog lights to increase visibility. When changing direction, turn on the turn signal early and observe carefully before moving," said a representative of the City Police Traffic Police Department.

According to this person, in wet weather, the brake system and tires are easily affected, so traffic participants need to carefully check their vehicles before moving. At the same time, they must comply with traffic rules to ensure safety and life for themselves and those around them.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Hanoi's weather from February 6-8 will be covered in dense fog and drizzle, then enter a period of severe cold with a sharp drop in temperature.

Specifically, during these 3 days, the capital Hanoi area will be cloudy with scattered rain. From the afternoon of February 7-8, the weather will turn cold, with some places experiencing severe cold with the highest temperature of 13-17℃, the lowest commonly 10-14℃.

Experts say that the weather in Hanoi and surrounding areas may experience a peak of severe cold with the minimum temperature possibly dropping to 10-11 degrees Celsius on the night of February 7 and morning of February 8.
