According to information from the Quang Ngai Hydrometeorological Station, from October 30 to November 1, the province will have moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain, with common rainfall of 100-200 mm, in some places over 250 mm. From the afternoon of October 30 to November 3, there is a possibility of a flood on the rivers, with the flood peak fluctuating at level BĐ1-BĐ2, causing the risk of flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas.

The Quang Ngai Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control requested localities to inspect, review and promptly mobilize forces to evacuate and relocate households in low-lying areas and areas at risk of flash floods and landslides to safe places. Special attention should be paid to residential areas, agency headquarters and military bases in areas that have been affected by landslides and are at high risk of landslides in the districts of Tra Bong, Son Tay, Son Ha, Ba To and Minh Long.

Arrange 24/7 security forces, put up warning signs and resolutely prohibit people from traveling through dangerous areas (underground, overflow, deeply flooded roads, landslides, etc.) when the authorities have put up warning signs; temporarily suspend ferry operations and do not allow people to fish or collect firewood on the river during periods of rain and floods.

Localities strictly manage the activities of ships and boats at sea. Proactively prohibit all vehicles, ships and boats from operating at sea (including passenger transport vehicles on the Sa Ky - Ly Son route and vice versa) when the sea area of Quang Ngai province has strong winds of level 6 or higher.
