Mr. A Dam, Tu Tho village said: 5 years ago, his family lived in the old village, life was very difficult, always worried about the house being eroded when the rainy season came. The new resettlement area was built spaciously, people were given land, built houses and focused on growing cold-weather coffee, ginseng, Ngoc Linh ginseng and planting forests. Life has stabilized and income is better than before.
Referring to the changes in Tu Tho village, Mr. Hoang Xuan Thang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Te Xang commune, Tu Mo Rong district, said that in addition to the support of the Party and the State, there are great efforts from the people. Specifically, in 2019, the village had 139 households, of which 69 were poor households; currently, the village has 164 households, of which only 31 are poor households. 100% of households have solid houses, many of which were built from 200 million to 800 million VND. People's thinking has also changed, from deforestation to afforestation; from waiting and relying on others to proactively developing highly effective economic models. With constant changes, the commune is striving to make Tu Tho a new rural village by the end of 2025.
Become a community tourism village
To improve the lives of the Xo Dang people in Tu Tho village, Kon Tum province has had policies for Tu Mo Rong district to take care of and help people develop production and build this place into a community tourism village.

The good news is that the Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision to recognize Tu Tho Resettlement Village as a Community Tourism Village. To make Tu Tho become a Community Tourism Village as it is today is a process of support from the local government and the efforts of the Xo Dang people here. From a land full of hardship, Tu Tho village today has become an interesting destination for many tourists.
