Despite their efforts, Thailand is still inferior to Uzbekistan in terms of class. The "War Elephants" stopped in the round of 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup after a 1-2 defeat to the Central Asian team. From coach Masatada Ishii, the coaching staff, the players to officials at all levels. All have fought together in solidarity throughout the past time. The team members have been away from home for a whole month for a great goal.

After the 2023 Asian Cup, Thailand will have two months to prepare for two extremely important matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Korea next March. Currently, they have 3 points after losing to China and winning against Singapore.
