(NLDO) - Can Tho Art Flower Street promises to bring a unique cultural space to people and tourists during Tet.
After a 4-year hiatus, this year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City organized the art flower street "Celebrating the glorious Party - Celebrating the Spring of At Ty 2025" with the theme "Convergence and development". The flower street is located on Vo Van Tan - Nguyen Thai Hoc street, Tan An ward, Ninh Kieu district.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, said that the purpose of organizing the flower street is to create a cultural space, meet the entertainment and enjoyment needs of city residents and tourists during Tet, contributing to making the city's Spring atmosphere more joyful and exciting.
At the same time, the flower street uses many types of flowers and ornamental plants from farmers, contributing to flower consumption and increasing income for growers.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan said that up to now, the construction and installation work on the flower street has reached more than 90% and is ready for the opening day at 7:00 p.m. on January 27 (December 28).
Overall, the flower street is an artistic work designed and arranged in harmony with color elements combined with models, with more than 30,000 flower baskets and ornamental plants of many types, mobilized from flower villages. In the installation, mainly environmentally friendly materials are used.

In particular, the main gate area is designed with a stylized round arch image, in the middle of the model above is the Can Tho logo and the words "Can Tho Flower Street 2025", surrounded by brilliant apricot and peach blossoms.

Section 1: Includes models of spring apricot gardens, lotus pedestals, Vietnam map, sunflower pedestals associated with welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2nd term 2025-2030 and welcoming the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Section 2: Large flower platform model, Spring At Ty, New Year greetings, spring couplets, digital technology application model, book pages, computers, library building model and Can Tho City People's Council.
Section 3: Stylized model of Can Tho city tourism logo, art performance stage, floating market model on the river, fruit garden, boats full of fruits, flower river model, tourism promotion booths.
Many miniatures are decorated on the flower street.
Side gate area: Stylized model of a swallow with two pairs of wings, Can Tho logo in the middle and the words "Can Tho Flower Street 2025", fruit tray and colorful flower models. The pillars on both sides are decorated with models to create the final highlight for the flower street.
