(CTTĐTBP) - On the morning of February 28, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for building houses and eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in Doan Ket commune, Bu Dang district.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh suggested that the locality continue to pay attention to and support poor and near-poor households; at the same time, from the support of the community, each poor and near-poor household needs to strive to develop the economy.

Each newly built house is supported with 80 million VND and 40 million VND/repaired house. This funding is taken from the province's "For the Poor" fund. The newly built houses have a construction structure according to the "3 hard" standards: hard foundation, hard wall frame, hard roof. Doan Ket commune currently has 3 houses in need of repair and 3 houses in need of new construction.

In 2025, Bu Dang district will have 204 poor households, near-poor households, policy families, and meritorious people eligible to receive support to build new and repair houses under the "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" program.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh requested the locality to continue to pay attention to and support poor and near-poor households; at the same time, from the support of the community, each poor and near-poor household needs to strive to rise up and develop the family economy to improve their lives.
